Rice University Art Gallery is dedicated to pioneering the creation and exhibition of site-specific installation art. Five times per academic year, Rice Gallery commissions emerging artists from outside Texas to create an original piece for the exhibition space. After the exhibition, the work is dismantled and recycled.
