Reinventing ComicsScott McCloud's Zot! was a 1980s comic strip lovable for its uncynical tone and its creator's obvious affinity for the history of comics (luckily it was anthologized and reissued last year). Then in 1993 McCloud became better known for Understanding Comics, an indispensible guide to this world of graphic arts. He's since released two related volumes, Reinventing Comics and Making Comics.
