NANO Fiction's next reading is Tuesday, featuring Houston-based poet, web-designer and Twitterer of the mundane Gene Morgan. The reading will also feature Ryan Call, associate editor of NOÖ Journal. A limited-edition chapbook featuring work from both writers will be for sale at the reading.
NANO Fiction was started in 2006 by Kirby Johnson and Jennifer Eberhardt. The magazine publishes twice a year. Readings take place the second Tuesday of every month at Kaboom Books, Houston Ave. at Bayland.
NANO Fiction is also looking for submissions for the Spring issue of the semiannual journal, and for readers who are willing to perform their works, open mic-style, at Kaboom Books. Submissions can be mailed to nanfictionmag@gmail.com. Those interesting in reading at Kaboom can email nanoreadingseries@gmail.com.
