The Katy Wine Fest is taking on an eastern flavor this year. No there’s no Asian theme, it’s just the event has been growing for seven years. This year there will be several restaurants from the Katy’s “eastern suburbs” participating, including Cafe Benedicte, Carmelo’s and Ciro’s.
The event -- 7 p.m.-11 p.m. Nov. 9 at Tuscany Villa, 3330 FM 1463 in Katy-- offers light bites, wine tastings, workshops and musical entertainment. No Label Brewery will host a beer garden.
Tickets are $50 in advance or $60 at the door. Proceeds benefit the Brookwood Community, which helps adults with disabilities. For information, go to katywinefest.com.
A movie on the patio
