If you've never been to Meteor -- and really, everyone needs to experience it at least once -- do it this weekend.
Think of it as Meteor on steroids. Soaking wet. In a jockstrap. (With a martini.)
The popular Montrose lounge is celebrating its ninth anniversary Friday and Saturday with "international adult video star and Latin heartthrob" Rafael Alencar. (That's fancy talk for porn star, in case you hadn't figured it out.)
And nine years isn't the only thing being celebrated this weekend. Use your imagination. Look at the photo. Think about it.

Alencar will pose for photos, sign autographs and do "two big shows" in Meteor's onstage showers.
Oh, yeah -- Meteor has showers. Just make sure the dollar bills stay dry. No one likes a soggy tip.

Get over it. Just because you don't like a particular article doesn't mean you have to get all up in arms. If I didn't like a particular musical group Joey did a column on should I cancel my subscription? No. Well, unless I was a close minded Texas hick... maybe then.
But really, get over it. And to feel the need to declare your narrow minded thinking to the thousands, maybe tens of thousands, that read this particularly small column on this event shows how really ridiculous you are.
