Hans Bierhaus
The well-respected beer joint is hosting an Oktoberfest shindig complete with dancing frauleins. You'll have your choice of grilled beer brats and sauerkraut on a bun or sauerbraten for only $2. Grab some food and beer then head to the outside biergarten to hear music from the likes of Das Ist Lustig, Dark Surf, Sugarball Express, Jimmy Pizzatola and Herschel Berry.

It costs what you spend.
Block 7 Wine Co.
Yeah, it's a wine bar/retail space. That doesn't mean they can't party with the beer boys. You can taste German wine and beer, as well as learn a little about what you're imbibing at a German beer and wine seminar, which starts at 6 p.m. They'll also have German food and live music.

Southern Star Brewery
The little brewery up north (and by "up north", I mean Conroe) will hold its annual Oktoberfest festivities instead of the usual Saturday brewery tour. They're limiting advanced tickets (and you can only get in by ticket) to 225, so you might want to act fast. As of 3 p.m. Oct. 16, there were still a few tickets available. A ticket gets you brats, beans, rolls and potato salad catered by Outlaw Kookers, live music by the house band Spliffer and, of course, tons of beer, glorious beer.

Tracy, is that you?
Lol, nope. Her beer is too light. I'm a Schwarzbier-sorta girl.
But, as we are almost identical in every other way, I can see how you'd make the mistake. ;)
