A self-described hybrid between sports bar and Midtown lounge, Union pretty much nails their target. The bar manages to successfully meld a chill-out-and-watch-the-game scene with their wealth of poles (you know, for dancing) and plush lounge seating. Their reasonable drink prices drive a hard bargain on the rest of the neighborhood, and even though the youthful swagger may not change much from here to down the street, it’s hard to justify spending the night at other nearby spots when you can be at Union.
