It's Avatar Day and James Cameron's present to you is an Avatar trailer and sneak peeks at select theaters worldwide. Unfortunately tickets to those sneak peeks were gone almost instantly. Oh, well. It was only 16 minutes long anyway.
Reception to the trailer has been mixed. Some folks are complaining that the CG looks a little hinky (insert snide reference to Jar Jar Binks here). Others think it's fantastic.

Watch this and tell me if your faith in sci-fi/fantasy/action movies has been altered.
My biggest problem with it is that I have no freaking clue what it's about. Just a bunch of "HUH??" sequences. It doesn't look cool or groundbreaking enough that I need it immediately. And James Cameron is kind of dick so that has to go against it too.
