1. Why should anyone care about the music you make?
The songs we create/perform come to life for whoever should choose to listen. It isn't expected of anyone to care about our music. Since we aren't necessarily in the vein of most popular bands, the only thing we are hopeful of is the acknowledgement that Leaf is tapping into something refreshing. We keep an unbiased opinion and open mind with our writing style; the result is groovy melodies infused with twisted rock. Leaf is what it is.
2. How attractive is your band?
Since we aren't your cookie-cutter average band, some may find us completely unattractive. HAHA. Who cares? Not us. We are here to simply play experimental rock music and not worry about the image so many others waste energy on. It can be easy to forget the fact that great music is an essential and crucial foundation to any band. Besides, aren't looks deceiving?
3. How much do you rock, percentage-wise?
We're not self-absorbed. You tell us!
4. What is the best thing to ever happen at one of your shows?
The best thing about any show is being able to share our love for music with others. The emotional energy that we harness and pour into every performance lets us bond on levels unachievable by any other means. We've met some incredible people along our journey, and hopefully someday you.
5. Next five songs on your iPod or what disc is in your car/home right now?
Animals by Pink Floyd; Possibilities by Herbie Hancock; Stoner Witch by the Melvins; Mit Gas by Tomahawk; Rumours by Fleetwood Mac.
