"Orca," the debut offering from the Answer Page, was one of last year's best albums. Moody, affecting and often brilliant. Singer/songwriter/instrumentalist Nate McKee quietly released the project, and it became something of a blogoshpere sensation.
He returns Tuesday with "Featureless Beast," which builds on the dreamy, shoegaze sound with bigger songs and bolder songs. It's the second of three albums chronicling his life from 2001-2006. McKee was awesome enough to give us the exclusive listen.
"I was young and experiencing the world on my own terms, in a brand new place," he says. "I knew I needed to grow up, clean up, and start over. 'Featureless Beast' is sort of metaphoric of the energy and motivations that drove me at the time."

And look for my feature on McKee and the new album next week. Happy listening!
