Some encouraging news from the Houston Press' website about the condition of music editor Chris Gray:

"Chris's mom says he's off the respirator! And his cat scan came back normal. 'He's still pretty goofy,' from all the sedation she said, but his doctors think he'll make a 100 percent recovery from the heart attack. Biggest news: Chris will have to quit smoking and his mom asked us to spread the word: 'No one should send Chris cigarettes!'

29-95 learned this afternoon that our friend and colleague, Houston Press music editor Chris Gray, suffered a heart attack while on his way to work today. Last we heard in a Tweet by his brother, Chris was in an induced coma.
