Eve 6 and Everclear, two of the biggest names from the 1990s alternative rock scene, are coming to town Nov.7.
Instead of playing in one of of downtown Houston's many music venues, the bands are opting for the cozy confines of Clear Lake area's Scout Bar, according to a press release from Eve 6's label , Fearless Records. The tour is playing a lot of secondary markets like Lubbock, Patchogue, N.Y. and Joliet,Ill.
Eve 6 returned this year with its latest album, "Speak In Code."

How appropriate is it that a "dude" evoking GnR in his screen name is calling out bands that are "washed up." Who is more washed up and freaked out than Axl Rose (aka "GnR")? Perhaps the most undeserving member of the Jann Wenner Hall of Fame ever.
Okay it's just a minor blip on the music radar but somebody was doing their homework when they booked Everclear on Nov 7 and just two days later booked Noel Gallagher (and the High Flying Birds) along with Snow Patrol. Nice going.
