This weekend's Free Press Summer Fest was a raging success packed with great music, people, and general awesomeness. I hope you had as much fun as I did. Kudos to Omar, Jagi, and all the staff who made this weekend possible. Here are some pictures from Day Two.
Can I just give you guys mad love for doing this festival? I think everyone had a great time and it looked like enough people attended to make it successful. There were a few minor bumps, but those are to be expected in the 1st year.
Anyway, you guys did a fantastic job and you have a lot to be proud of!
Thanks. We were one of the sponsors and were very proud to be associated with the event but serious props go to Omar (Free Press Houston Editor and Chief) and Jagi (Pegstar) who were two people foolish enough to think this could work and then make it happen. That took some serious balls on their part.
They and, of course, the other sponsors, volunteers, workers, staff, and artists that made it come together.
