Congratulations to Mary Sarah, who came out on top of more than 200,000 votes to perform the National Anthem before this weekend's Houston Texans game.

The 16-year-old Sugar Land native beat out several finalists and will belt it out in front of 70,000 fans Sunday when the Texans host the Carolina Panthers at the Home for the Holidays game. (The annual contest is hosted by the Texans.)

"I'm super excited," she says. "I thank my fans, family and friends for voting.

"It was a real honor to be picked and to sing for them after them winning the division (AFC South title)!"

Mary Sarah also performed the Anthem for the Houston Astros opener earlier this year. (See the video above. That means you, XTina.) She's currently recording a project featuring country legends Dolly Parton, Ray Price and Lynn Anderson.

Great voice, but sings it too slow! Don't change it up. That does not make it original. The song is what it is. Sing it. Speed up. Google the cop with the deep voice that sings it up in Chicago. (9/11/11) Sings it fast and the crowd loves it. Sing with soul and heart. (Listen to Whitney H. a few times)
