Tyson
Mike Tyson has cancelled his "Undisputed Truth" show, which was to have taken place at the Bayou Music Center on Wednesday, according to the show's promoter. The official cause is a "scheduling conflict."
The one-man show -- written by Tyson's wife Kiki and directed by filmmaker Spike Lee -- premiered in Las Vegas last year and then moved to a run on Broadway. In the production, Tyson addresses his professional career as well as his subsequent personal and financial ruin. More than 25 dates were set on the tour, which began earlier this month in Indianapolis. Following the tour, Tyson planned to develop a second show with his wife.
"We really have been successful with this show and I'm grateful," Tyson told the Chronicle last week. "I never dreamed it would be successful."
I was so looking forward to hearing Mike sing ... or dance ... or whatever it is he does. And just what was that again?
