Does anyone else feel post-event letdown on the scale of Christmas when you were 7 years old? I just want to do it all again this weekend. But since that's not going to happen for another year, here's how you can relive all of the highs of Summer Fest:
Gallery of Day 2, photos by Jordan Graber, and more photos from Day 2 from Syd Kearney
Gallery of Day 1, photos by Jordan Graber, and even more photos from Day 1 from the rest of us
Joe Mathlete dances with the Flaming Lips
Ramon Medina's notes from Summer Fest
Three perspectives of the Flaming Lips set, including a gripe about another stage drowning out the headliner
Wrap-up of Sunday by Andrew Dansby
Devin Finch weighs in on the festival in his own, wordy way
Review of the lovely set by Stars by Bobby Hankinson
Ramon Medina's photos during the rainstorm on Sunday and Sara Cress reports from the VIP tent during the rainstorm
Joe Mathlete's field reports from Sunday
Sara Cress spots Wayne Coyne Sunday afternoon, snaps a shot of Coyne with a couple of members of the Wild Moccasins
Sara Cress reports early from Sunday, when most folks were still in bed sleeping off Saturday
Wrap-up of Saturday by Sara Cress
Andrew Dansby reports from the Medeski, Martin & Wood show
Syd Kearney eats a crepe at Summer Fest and reports on this year's vendors
Joe Mathlete reports on the Kid Sister show
Bobby Hankinson gets dizzy on Saturday afternoon watching sets by Perseph One and Come See My Dead Person and on Saturday morning watching Sideshow Tramps and Wild Moccasins
Sara Cress catches Spain Colored Orange's Eric Jackson fulfilling a request for an autograph
I'd be interested in seeing the attendance figures compared to those of last year.
Has the festival already outgrown Eleanor Tinsley?!?
You should post this info when you become privy.
Not privy to anything but heard they sold aprox 25,000 last year and just from being there both days this weekend I would guess triple that for 75,000 total
I wonder where else the festival could be held. I love the skyline as a backdrop, though, I'd hate to lose it.
