At long last, I hold in my hand the Buxton 7” EP and you’d think I’m holding a gold ingot I’m so thrilled! If you didn’t make it out to Mangos last night, not only did you miss out on greedily clutching this fine piece of wax in your hand while tossing back a finely poured drink, but you also missed out on an amazing night of Houston music. Dancing shoes around the Montrose all rejoiced at the return of the Wild Moccasins and Buxton’s ripped through a set that was nothing less than phenomenal. I can’t say anything that hasn’t been said before about these bands so here are some photos I took (with a camera quickly borrowed from my dad that took me quite a while to make sense of).
