Bun B wants YOU to see this movieUPDATE: Due to overwhelming response, Bun B has decided to attend a second screening on Saturday although no details have been released.
Bun posted on Facebook saying, "We are just gonna do both! See you today at 2:10 and we'll do something Saturday as well! pass it on..."

Houston's own Bun B is inviting the entire city (or as many people the theater can hold) to watch Ice-T's film 'Something From Nothing: The Art of Rap' showing at 2:10 today at Edwards Theatre located at 3839 Weslayan.
Bun posted the open invitation on Twitter and Facebook with the message "Let's sell it out and support and Hip Hop!"
Word has spread quickly; both messages have been retweeted and shared countless times.
Arrive early, grab some popcorn and enjoy the flick. Maybe you'll get lucky and sit next to the Trill OG himself.

That's actually funny because I am one of those to cheap to pay the $3 (not $2) to park there. I can't believe the immediate neighbors were successful in getting "no parking" zones established across Weslayan. Come on - you live a block or two from 59!
Its a beautiful thing, I don't have to watch the inconsiderate idiots leaving trash in my neighbors' yard, being loud late at night, and generally lowering my enjoyment of my neighborhood, but please fell free to invite everyone to park in front of you house......

ahh, but I did know where I was moving to , way before the theater was built, and the owners decided to charge people to park which "forced" them to become the neighborhoods problem......

i cant believe that someone who looks as rediculous as Bun B taught a course at Rice.
He probably knows how to spell "ridiculous." I feel it is "ridiculous" that people are still being judged by the way they look. Glad Rice officials (and others) were able to look past his profession and see the man behind the entertainment and what he can bring to the table.
