Zoo Lights: the holidays just got a little wilder -- and brighter

“Holly Berry,” a 1958 Cadillac, welcomes visitors to Zoo Lights. Sparkling lights, life-size animal sculptures, strolling carolers and the opportunity to visit the animals after dark are part of the appeal of Zoo Lights, a new holiday event at the Houston Zoo. Zoo Lights will be open 6-10 p.m. Nov. 23 through Jan. 5 (with the exception of Christmas Eve). Admission is $10 (free for ages under 2); the last ticket will be sold at 9 p.m. Information: 713-533-6500
