It's National Margarita Day! At least, according to the people who make up these completely ridiculous holidays. Hooray! Here's a look at some great places in Houston to celebrate. Your favorite spot in the comments.
Any Houston margarita list that doesnt list El Patio (aka Club No Minor) is missing the best/strongest rita in town.

Sorry, but Rudys Cantina on Grant has strongest margueritas. Everyone else is fighting for 2nd.
Mango-Key Lime Margaritas
Makes 2 margaritas
This tropical margarita is much fruitier and easier to drink than a genuine Mexican margarita. If a frozen drink gives you a headache, omit the crushed ice and serve on the rocks.
1 shot (1 ounce) tequila
1 shot (1 ounce) Cointreau
1/4 fresh mango, peeled and chopped
1/2 cup fresh orange juice
juice of 1/2 Mexican or Key lime
1 cup crushed ice
2 Mexican or Key lime slices, for garnish
Combine the tequila, Cointreau, mango, orange juice, lime juice, and ice in a blender and blend until slushy. Serve in large cocktail glasses.

By the way all margaritas are made of mezcal, thats the name of the plant the tequila comes from.
That would be the blue agave plant, not mezcal.
