What do you do when a younger, prettier version of you starts flirting with your man, or in this case, men?
You get yourself a sexy new dress.
The Hooters on Kirby [1] was looking a little long in the tooth when Twin Peaks [2] opened directly across the street 13 months ago. (OK, it’s the Southwest Freeway.)
Hooters has gone and gotten itself all gussied up. The wings joint will be celebrating its “grand unveiling” with a Sip n’ See VIP party 4 p.m.-7 p.m. Jan. 23. Party guests will include 2013 Hooters Girl of the Year Rachel Fashing and several of the Hooters Calendar Girls.
The revamp of the 20-year-old store now will serve as a prototype for future renovations and builds of the 400+ restaurant change.
“Hooters is exceptionally proud to reveal this design concept, reinvigorating the look and feel of our traditional restaurants without losing the essence of our iconic brand that the world has loved for 30 years,” Dave Henninger, chief marketing officer, Hooters of America, said in a release.

So what can you expect?
This is from the release:
Hooters guests who visit the newly redesigned location will experience a variety of design elements that will surely keep them comfortably seated for hours enjoying Hooters world-famous wings and catching a game on many large, high-definition televisions. The high exposed ceiling, painted ductwork and cypress wood walls give a more open and brighter appearance, and materials such as light colored face brick provide texture throughout the space.
“Guests will also benefit from a more centrally located and prominently placed bar, complemented with swiveled bar stools for ease and comfort. And speaking of comfort, the Hooters of Kirby location also features new booth seating and high-back chairs at all tables with an enhanced seat size and added padding.”
Can’t wait until next week? Stop by today. The restaurant only closed for a handful of days during the redesign, which began in November.
