Old-fashioned, flame-broiled burgers served alongside hand-dipped onion rings and creamy shakes in a humble setting.
Alison Cook says: Within this wren-drab hut lies a wood-paneled, sepia-toned Houston period piece from the 1960s. It's swell and then some. The burgers, "flame-broiled'' over an open grill, are serious paper-wrapped stuff - particularly the eminently scarfable chili cheeseburger that deserves its own historical plaque. Add a strictly nonserious chocolate shake to achieve nirvana.
I love BBB and have since the early '70's! It's a retro throw-back... but that's what we nostalgists love! Good burger... the Bellaire Special is my fave!
BB Rocks!!!!! Best chili-cheesburger in H-town!!
Not good at all
Meaningless comment....no details.
I've been to BBB a number of times and thought the CB was quite good, given the kind of place BBB is.
The Bellaire Special.....rocks.
The #4, chili-cheesburger, rules. Beans are really goo, too.
Good place for an honest charbroiled cheeseburger, used to be a regular many years ago. Double/double combo was enough to keep me for the rest of the day.
I took 3 of my grandchildren to BBB for an intro to chili burgers. They loved it! I did have to scrub the kids down a bit afterwards. A great place.
My son and I were out one Saturday and he wanted a burger from the usual chain places. I told about BBB. After he tried there burger he has never wanted one from anywhere else.
Your son has impeccable taste!
