Let's be honest ... You don't go to the Cadillac for the enchiladas. It's all about the party. So take family, take friends, heck, take enemies (it's so loud they'll never be able to hear you anyway), and enjoy the party. Keep your food expectations low and the margaritas coming and a good time will be had by all.
Vibe: Livin' la vida loca.
Happy Hour Specials: Monday-Friday: 2-7 p.m.
The only real Cadillac Bar closed in 2010:

I miss the carefree roadtrips down south to Nuevo Laredo, where they served incredible food, with a side of awesome party!
and tillman could careless what you think. all he cares about is borrowing more money to buy dumpy casinos.
Its not a restaurant, its a circus side show, much like all landry's joints
you must try the Snapper cooked Veracruz style. It's a killer!!!!!!!
This SHOULD NOT be on the top 29 Tex-Mex in Houston. It's nothing more than another great Houston icon destroyed by Fertitta's Landaryizaton. Stay away, send a message that Houstonians can be fooled by keeping the old name on a restaurant that isn't even close to the old days. It's a place for fun seekers to be entertained, NOT a place for foodies to have dinner. Stand on the table, sing to patrons, dance in the isles, play in the sand box, light drinks on fire, JUST DO EVERYTHING YOU CAN TO DISTRACT THE PATRONS FROM THE QUALITY OF THE FOOD!!!! That's the Landry's mantra.
Keep your food expectations low?? Jeez, that sure as hell makes this a "must see" joint! I haven't been to Cadillac since Landry's bought them out. While I agree that the food is subpar, I must ask why then is this on the top 29 Tex-Mex restaurants that I HAVE to try?!?
It's included in this list because it's a Houston institution, much like the dear departed Felix's. And on a Saturday night, when the place is teeming and the shot gals are buzzing about, it's can't be beat for pure fun.
