Alison Cook says: Regulars dote on the blackboard menu at this atmospheric, French-owned bistro. It's strong on red meats, from lamb rack to venison to beef filet in mustardy cognac sauce. Beautifully seared sweetbreads or veal kidneys would pass muster in Paris. All-French wine list.
