Family run restaurant serves some of the best barbecue in these parts. And its homemade sides - mac and cheese, sweet potatoes, broccoli rice - are as good as the hickory smoked meats.
Sadly, it does not meet expectations. Very nice people but only average food.
Fantastic BBQ and even better home made sides! You can't beat the lunch special...split it with someone and you will still have left overs.
This looks like one of those modest decor kind of places where you'll find some kick-ass BBQ, but I'm sorry to say that it's not the case. Both times I've tried it I was very underwhelmed. It's mediocre at best and surely not deserving of being on any "top" lists.
BBQ is average at best, the sides are awesome though, could have a meal of just the sides

I have to agree; this place doesn't live up to the hype.
Man, I love this place. Get the turbo-sized Megalopotato stuffed with brisket, sour cream, chives and cheese. Great BBQ sauce and iced tea.
