Founding chef-owner Gerard Brach is back in charge at his charming north-side French spot, and the quietly assured food shows it. Service, too. Look to the left side of the menu, where daily specials dwell, to find memorable dishes: smartly accessorized fish, soulful variety meats, swell charcuterie plates. Special-order souffles run rings around the other desserts.
Just got back from 2 years in France/England and glad to find that Chez nous hasn't lost any of its excellence, it is still the finest dining experience in town, So we won't miss Europe too much in spite of the Humble location, the drive is not bad we just think that at their level they deserve better.
