In case you haven't noticed, there's no shortage of taquerias in this town. The question is which ones are worth their weight in margarita salt. El Rey makes an exceptional taco and prepares its rotisserie chicken in house. Plus, the added Cuban flavor adds some interesting twists, including a some tasty fried plantains in the Cuban taco. Some locations serve beer and wine. If that's important to you, call first.
Vibe: Don't judge by the Main Street outlet, the other outposts are totally ghetto -- and we mean that in a good way.
Haha I love them too! I'm lucky and Logan just goes with the flow. He's a photographer too, so lucliky he values the subject being photographed. Love it! You should just tell your husband that he should consider himself lucky that he gets restaurant style plating. Lucky duck!
I eat breakfast at the one on Washington every morning. Great breakfast tacos and the best tortilla soup in town. The staff is great and they get the food out quickly. Love El Rey!
The food is good but it's overprice! One regular taco for 2.50..something like that! Just ONE taco!
I love the Ropa Vieja taco on corn tortilla with that tasty slaw; if I am feeling under the weather, I get the tortilla soup. MD Anderson should sponsor a study on that soup. The best drink is 1/2 tea, 1/2 lemonade.
