Crazy casual Italian cafe crafts Chicago-style pizza and gorgantuan portions of pasta. Among its all-American offerings: The (first) President Bush pizza, a pie topped with artichoke hearts, pepperoni, Canadian (WTF?) bacon, Italian (again, we say WTF?) sausage, green peppers, mushrooms, onion and black olives. Tasty, if a little un-American. At Fuzzy's, tables fill up with loud families and even-louder little league teams. Craving conversation? Get your pizza to go.
Vibe: A kids' birthday party where all the youngsters are in the backyard unsupervised and all the grownups are in the living room sipping martinis.

Alison Cook says: Fuzzy's makes its own sauce, its own dough and piles on the fixings. Choose New York-style thin crust or Chicago-style deep pan. Whole-wheat crust is available. Owner Fuzzy Hajjar has several other locations, but Fuzzy fans believe the original Antoine location is the best.

With a name like "Fuzzys", need we say more? LOL! I'm just SAYIN'.

I went to this place and found it to be too loud, help was not service oriented, and workers were rude and unclean. In the middle of placing my order, I had a gut feeling I did not want to eat what would come out of the kitchen, so I stopped mid-sentence and excused myself. It is just an awful place.

It's a shame that the manager on duty did not have the training or chutzpah to do the right thing. If he didn't have enough staff to deliver the missing food, he or she should have called their spouse to deliver it. If their spouse was not available, then call the general manager or area manager to come help out. Then he/she should have given a $50 gift card along with a sincere heartfelt apology. This $10 fiasco will end up costing thousands. A blown opportunity to create a special moment.

I had a horrible experience at the Mason Road Katy store this evening. I ordered $40 worth of food, picked it up (after THEY verified the order and stapled the bag closed). I left a good tip - even though it was a pick-up, to-go order. I got home and $10 of my food was not in the bag. I called to have them deliver the food. They said they were too busy to deliver the food that they mistakenly did not give me when I went to pick it up. Note that they obviously inaccurately "checked" the order and stapled the bag closed in front of me. They mentioned that too many other customers were ahead of me. I explained that since they messed up they should correct the situation. They would not and would not credit my credit card back for the charges on food I did not receive - just issue a store credit. Apparently other customers must be more important... To make matters worse, I was told that I should drive back to the restaurant to correct the issue and get my food. When will they realize that when THEY make an obvious mistake to a local customer of over 11 years that they should take all necessary steps to correct it, not put the inconvenience on the customer to return to the store again when I did not make the mistake! I fully understand that if I did not pay them or made some other type of mistake then it is my responsibility to correct the issue and make it right at my inconvenience. I spoke to an employee and the manager explaining these details very clearly without any change in their position. So much for 11 + years of being a loyal customer... Why have a manager that has no concept of "Customer Service" and is not flexible as to how to solve problems?

Why does one feel the need to publicly proclaim themself a "Dr" on a public food blog?? Relevance???

I agree with cabbage, Antonio's is still the best in west Houston.

Three years & 1 month ago, I got home with my to-go order and was missing part of it. When I called to let them know, Fuzzy's wife was EXTREMELY RUDE to me, basically making it my own fault for their mistake. When I went back to get the missing order, Fuzzy's wife berated me for "being mean" when all I'd done was ask for what I paid for, politely. She continued to stand there and try and argue with me. Tonight I tried to place a to-go order over the phone and was placed on hold. Fuzzy's wife came back on the line and told me that she couldn't take my order, that she was "under strict orders from the owner, Mr. Fuzzy, to not take my business." Really? Three years after SHE yelled at ME for HER not getting my order filled correctly, I'm on some kind of ban list? What kind of person does business this way??

Amber, you must be crazy to go back. Even three years later.

C'mon Amber, whats the rest of the story.......

RPop Tue, 06/28/2011 - 7:26am

$10-$20?? Are you kidding? The most overpriced Cici's tasting pizza in town. You're better with frozen pizza....

cabbagerollsandcoffee Thu, 06/16/2011 - 7:59am

Fuzzy's should switch to Mediterranean cuisine, pizza is NOT his forte. Many years ago had one delivered from the Fondren location, was not impressed. Antonio's on Hillcroft, best in the area if not the city.

DavidinPearland Fri, 03/18/2011 - 8:46am

Totally agree.....This pizza place is way over priced and not that great!!!

krychekxf Thu, 02/17/2011 - 1:06pm

Yes it is pricy but the pizza is well worth it! I think it's the best in Houston. I love the meat lovers on wheat. Hmm, hmm.....

Don't review your own restaurant Mon, 08/20/2012 - 6:04pm

It's obvious you work there or are related to the owner. Everyone else on here says that it's awful and the service is terrible and yet you think it's pricey, but worth it. Come on man!

DB Thu, 02/17/2011 - 12:29pm

The most overrated and over priced pizza place in the Houston area.
Save your money and go somewhere else!!!!
