Terrific little restaurant specializes in steaming pots of mussels, clams and shrimp, as well as gumbo. For something different, try the prime rib gumbo served with steamed rice. There's also barbecue oysters, burgers and po'boys. Nice selection of wines and beer, too.

We went to the League City location last night after our first attempt looked to be a 90 minute wait. Everything we had was delicious and our waiter did an excellent job of providing good service without being imposing or in a rush. I appreciated the nice beer selection. And while normally I don't get excited about a Po-Boy, the half crawfish/half oyster I ordered was incredible. This will definitely be in a monthly rotation for me should the food quality hold up.

So happy to see them open in League City, so we went there Sun night and it was great just like Galveston which we used to go to at least once per month. So we went back tonight. My wife was served and I waited and waited for my gumbo while others who had arrived after us were served. My wife finished still no gumbo. Our waitress kept coming by ( 3 different times) and said it would be out in a minute, but she never actually checked at the gumbo bar. Finally after getting 13 excuses from the manager, we left without the gumbo. I realize the staff is new, but enough is enough. The restaurant wasn't even as crowed as it was Sunday.
