The handsome dining room in this clubby but comfortable restaurant is decorated with framed sports memorabilia (and the good stuff not just gimme junk).

The menu is dominated by manly fare: prime rib (check out the carving station just past the hostess stand), marinated rib eyes, burgers with bacon and chiles and racks of pork ribs.

Service is serious but warm.

Full marks to the waiter who stood up against ignorance, bigotry and rudeness to defend and uphold the rights of a child with Down's Syndrome. I and all my friends will make a point of going to this restaurant because of this brave waiter's action. The restaurant hasn't lost one regular family customer. It's gained a whole lot of new customers.

im not from that area but after hearing the story of the waiter not serving a family rude enough to ask to be moved because of a child with downs ill be sure to give them my business if i am ever near there! i would also like to give the owner props for not disciplining the waiter for standing up for a person unable to stand up for themselves

I think the Prime Rib is excellent! and will say that is pricey, but then again quality product is not cheap.

Been a couple of times, food is good, a bit above average. Pricey for what your getting. Price needs to change from $10-20 to $15-30; unless your looking for a burger or sandwich. The $10 is the side salads. Prime Rib is the best thing going, but it's a bit pricey relative to the restaurant; which is not upscale. Kinda of a copy of Houston's but not there with the food or ambiance.

Was a bit expensive, and the philly chessesteak was greasy....I wish the prices were not so high......

Excellent food, blackened fish and the cole slaw all very good. Not so sure their business is doing well but each time we have been always pleased with the product.

Have you been here lately! Best Prime Rib in Houston and the Shrimp & Grits is amazing. Now they have more seating and tables and a new Patio. My new hanging place. Momma Ninfa raised some great food inventors.
