Iconic Texas comfort foods to the artisanal max at this bar pretending to be a restaurant. Giant platters of manly Texas food include juicy chicken wings alongside maple-syrup-soaked pancakes and a splendid rendition of cornmeal-crusted redfish and shrimp with cheese grits. Hand-cut fries are crisp, but too salty. Decent bottle prices, less attractive by the glass (just don't stress about wine pairings here).
Happy Hour Specials: 4-7 p.m. and last two hours of the night Monday-Saturday: prices lowered on some appetizers (sliders, frites, etc.)
