Grilled fish tacos Syd Kearney
2 locations, including Westheimer and Washington
In the vast salsa sea of Tex-Mex joints in Houston, Molina's gets bonus points for atmosphere. The Washington location's outdoor patio is the perfect place to sip margaritas with pals while taking in the fresh air. The hut-like covered patio portion is equally inviting and perfect for groups of grown-ups (not so easy to slide a high-chair over to those sky-high tables) to start their night with margs before hitting the clubs.
Vibe: Pre-k, inside; pre-game, outside.
Happy Hour Specials: 2 p.m.-7 p.m. weekdays
Glad they finally opened the new location in Bellaire, Jose Dip is worth driving for, but even better when its closer!
pappasitos houston locations doing 2 million a week in sales enough said.
Pappasitos has the best fish tacos in Houston!!!!
Just finished a take home grilled fish taco. Have been eating at Molina's since 1973. I eat at Molina's every Saturday along w/ wife. Enchilada's are the best, close second El Gallo on Gessner.
Tillman's Cadillac Bar was great but now only good.
I have to give him credit. The Steakhouse at the San Luis is the best steakhouse I've ever eaten at. Of course it helps that he has Paul Schultz.
A DISGRACE TO MEXICAN FOOD
I assume T Fertitta as in the "Tilman"? You say Molina's is a disgrace to Mexican Food. What a joke - if anyone is a disgrace to restaurants in Houston - it's any restaurant owned by you. Molina's has been around 70 years for a reason - good food, good service and lots of love. Every restaurant you touch or take over immediately becomes a cheap imitation of what it was before.

as you are to food blogs....
Before it made way for the HEB on Buffalo Speedway, I thought it was the worst Mexican food in Houston. There's about a thousand places I would go before I considered them again.
And once again Molina's does us right! It's a far drive from Spring, but we make it at least once a month just so we can dive into Jose's dip head first. It's always a toss up...enchiladas?...fajitas?...enchiladas?...fajitas?... So last night we went for both!!! Just wanted to give a shout out to Molina's...we love you!
