I don't see la Madeleine French Bakery on here, where I've spent many a breakfast pre-shoot and post-shoots in the low-end-tv biz.
And I think Chapultepec deserves to be on here too. I've spent severals mornings there, in the company of hunched-over club kids coming down, nurses in scrubs drinking margaritas for a 2nd-shift after-hours happy-hour, and my birthday - a gray morning that begat a great year.
I tend to think of some of these lists as Houston-centric. Which La Madeline isn't.
I also think, most of these places make their own food, where as the tasty quiche at LM, isn't made there.
Know what I mean? Not knocking your input, just saying- that's probably why it's not on this list.
Speaking of quiche.... ANDRE'S PASTRY SHOP!
I stick with the basics: Whataburger.
heck yes
Good Company Taqueria: hammy hash browns and unlimited refills on diet coke.
Kraftsmen Bakery. Fresh tacos, plus you still get good coffee and fresh pastries.
Who needs food when you can have great coffee at Antidote on Studewood?
Harry's!
