    Deli doubles down on burgers
The Galleria-area deli Kenny & Ziggy’s is jumping into Houston’s growing burger brawl with a new customized beef blend and three new burgers. New Jersey’s Pat LaFrieda & Sons Meat Purveyors is supplying the beef, a short rib and chuck blend.
All the burgers come with 8 ounces of beef and a side of fries and are priced at $16.95.
The Zigalicious gets a pile of pastrami, Swiss cheese, coleslaw and Russian dressing. The Boulevard Big Boy is topped with Gouda, bacon, onion strings and a housemade barbecue sauce. Mike’s Mashugana comes with blue cheese, bacon, sautéed mushrooms, onion rings and blue-cheese dressing. (All sound like a delicious mess.)
