Chef Randy Evans of Haven will help Urban Harvest kick off a new season of the City Hall Farmers Market, 901 Bagby, 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27.
In a tip of the toque to National Strawberry Day, Evans will be serving market-goers a salad with candied pecan and pink peppercorn goat cheese tossed with a strawberry vinaigrette.
Among the vendors at market will be Plant It Forward Farms, The Berry Best, Java Pura Coffee Roasters and Fraiche food truck.

Public Service Announcement for all who plan on going...do NOT sit around the reflection pool to eat your lunch. Every so often, they shock the hell out of the water, and it splashes up onto the stone around the pool. It was so strong it bleached my coworkers clothing before eventually eating holes into it.
