It's beurre blanc, not buerre blanc! And boy does that dish look good.

Great suggestions. I took a trip out to Alvin to visit the Barbed Rose and was it worth it? YES INDEED IT WAS. I may have had the best meal of my life there. As General McArthur said, "I shall return." Many thanks for the recommendation. I have had Oysters prepared and served the way your pic out there was. The taste was so great as to be indescribable.

Like we can afford to go to these places, when I cook as well if not better at home !

If you don't like eating out, why are you reading a blog about restaurants?

Burger Guys and Queen Vic are not even expensive.

Ate at The Barbed Rose Friday night. The redfish was so good my husband only shared a nibble. My salmon special was excellent. The coffee service was wonderful as well. It was our second time there and we'll definitely be back.
