Update: The Houston Fire Department reports that that fire fighters (approximately 45 responded) arrived within four minutes of being alerted. The fire was at by 4:05 a.m.
The damage estimate is $40,000.
The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.

An early morning fire damaged Marco Wiles' Dolce Vita Pizzeria Enoteca.
The Chronicle's Dale Lezon reports that there were no injuries and damage was confined to a wine storage area.
Hmm...something doesn't smell right. Early morning blaze? Confined to the liquor area? Wonder if there was a disgruntled employee lurking about. This HAS happened before, folks.
