Went to get a taste of the new Westchase Chuy's Saturday and got a happy surprise.

It was training day for invited family and friends, but turns out "friends" was everyone who pulled into the parking lot.

The place was swarming with greeters who offered a slip of paper with a couple of entrees and an appetizer and one suggested "stump-your-server" question. They went on to explain that the food was free and that margaritas, including their top-shelf versions, were $3.

Well, hello Chuy's.

We managed to get two slips of paper so we could choose one of four entrees, including chicken fajitas and the Southwestern Enchiladas, which come topped with a fried egg.

About 25 people came by our table to check on us, and, yes, everything was fine.

It was free. Who in the hell bitches about free?

The restaurant's grand opening is Tuesday, Aug. 25.
