This Haven will be a haven for wine lovers on Wednesdays this summer.
Haven restaurant is giving wine lovers a new reason to love Wednesday evenings. Beginning June 6 (and continuing through each Wednesday through July) Haven will host Wino Wednesdays – a food/wine/socializing happy hour from 5 to 7 p.m.
Wino Wednesdays will be $10 per person and feature appetizers from chef Randy Evans and unlimited wine tastings. Different wines will be provided each night so that regular winos will not get bored.
Haven is located at 2502 Algerian Way.

I used to go to Haven weekly but the service in the last six months has been lackluster. The servers seem more interested in talking to one another than taking orders and serving the patrons promptly. It's a shame because the restaurant decor is lovely and I enjoy the food. There are too many good restaurants in Houston to go to one where they just don't care if they have customers.
