Smashburger's Classic Burger is paired with Saint Arnold Amber Ale on the new beer & burger menu.
It’s a marriage made in fast food heaven: Houston Smashburger stores have come out with a new pairing menu featuring Saint Arnold Brewing Co. beers. The menu, which debuts Thursday (Nov. 15) at all Houston area stores, pairs Smashburger sandwiches with specific Saint Arnold brews. The pairings start at $8.
Examples of the unique unions include Avocado Club Burger with Weedwacker (avocado is a good match-up with the Bavarian Hefeweizen yeast used in the beer); Mushroom Swiss Burger with Santo (a floral, light-bodied beer); and Crispy Buffalo Chicken Sandwich with Elissa IPA (buffalo sauce contrasts nicely with the pale ale). There are eight pairings on the new menu.
The malted matches are part of Smashburger’s national efforts to pair its burgers with local breweries in its regional markets. Already the company has launched programs in Colorado and New Jersey.
SHHHAAAAWWWING!
This really does sound like heaven .... wonder if Tookies sells St Arnold's . . .
That's a TABC violation
Why?
Who cares about "violations"??
