Fratelli's Authentic Italian Cuisine Restaurant isn't the only restaurant serving its last meal on Friday, March 15.

The staff at Les Givral Kahve on Market Square is telling customers that Friday will be the last day of service.

Reached via e-mail, Qui Ly of the Washington Avenue Les Givral Kahve confirmed the closing:

"Yes it is true, Friday will be (Market Square's) last day. There is a slight chance that we will come back with our BanhMieria concept."

The counter-service restaurant, which opened in 2004, is/was a favorite for those of us on a budget. With nothing on the menu priced at more than $8, it is/was great deal for often-pricey downtown dining.
