I live near the Irvington location and eat there quite often, but we visit the Airline location when we have a big group. Chips and salsa, good fajitas, homemade tortillas and a margarita...what else can you ask for?
Great place to eat. The Airline location used to be a neighborhood secret; not anymore. The place does get crowded fast and often, but the food here is worth the wait. They have a great breakfast menu also; I know most people talk about their lunch and dinner items. I've never had a bad experience here either. Great place to eat!!
Teotihuacan on W. Belfort has the very best Mexican Food in Houston. We make special trips from Austin so that we can have their Chicken Fajita Burritos. Rafael in the kitchen has got to be one of the BEST Mexican Food Chefs in town. The quality of the food is always the same...MUY DELICIOSO!!! The spinach enchiladas are the best you'll find for 100s of miles. If Rafa is out his brother is in house and also does an outstanding job. The two managers Chelly and Rocio (sister-in-laws) run very tight ships. The tables are always bused and the food comes out piping hot. Lets begin with the salsas...my favorite is the green although the red is also quite tasty. The tortillas are made in house and they are always soft and fluffy.
In addition, the service is always friendly and with a genuine smile. Great Job Teotichuacan!!! The margaritas are the BEST in Houston!!! Both the lunch and dinner portions are always hearty. I promise that you won't have room for dessert. The W. Belfort location always has available parking near the front door. Buen Provecho!!!
This is the best Mexican food in town. Well ok I am sure Houston has better but by no means does that remove them from the top ten. At lunchtime you can get an awesome meal, the size of your head, for less then ten dollars. Happy hour rocks with margaritas and the sauces…oh the sauces.
The Airline Drive location is easily one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Houston. Love the queso, the salsa and the shrimp burrito. Despite what the reviewer says, I love the margaritas here (especially on the nights that they are $0.99 each). Parking cam be tough later in the evening so go early.
