Marmaduke is yet again hanging out in the loading screen of the Matrix, which is about the last recurring motif I'd expect from a comic strip that for the most part never made it past the 1950s (but you do have to admit that the "lots of blank white space" aspect plays to the artist's strengths). This time, Marmaduke is joined by his fat, elderly neighbor, and wouldn't you know it ol' Marmaduke is giving him the business, etc.
Couldn't they just.. close their front door?
Marmaduke has invited himself to neighbor-man’s Friday night at the movies. As they wrestle over the popcorn, I get a distinct impression that neighbor-man doesn’t want Marmaduke in his house. Maybe neighbor-man could have closed and locked the entrances to his house or does he not get the concept of home security.
I'm impressed by the flat-screen tv. I don't even have one of those.
I don't think that's a flat screen TV. Looks like a computer monitor hooked to a small file cabinet. Probably the work of an enterprising nephew (probably the same one who let Marmaduke in the house) to keep Gramps occupied while he steals his Oxycontin.
You know what else isn't a dog treat? Your green armchair. But that doesn't stop Marmaduke from humping it.
there's a bit of white void under Marm's paw, leading me to believe that he's in control of it and uses it to destroy lives.. or that whenever he forgets about reality it starts to fade out, because he's secretly God.
Marmaduke humps yet another inanimate object.
Owner-man should have Marm fixed.
Haha, it's funny because Neighbor Man thinks he's somehow going to get to sit down in his chair and still keep Marmaduke from eating his popcorn.
