If you've seen your fair share of shitty horror movies from the past decade, you've seen "the cut and slide" even if you don't know what it is.
The cut and slide is where good taste and physics meet at the middle, then get laughed out of the room by a few hacks with Final Cut Pro, a green screen and a gore fetish masked by a passable sense of humor.
Oh, fuck it - that was awesome. I'm gonna watch it again.
Thank goodness, it included my fave -- the mass cut & slide from scary, scary Ghost Ship.
I remember my first cut and slide... The Ice Pirates, '84. Guy gets neck sliced and starts laughing, tilts head back and THUMP! Though I guess it didn't technically slide, it was still badass.
