Quick, how much do you know about Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan?
Thought so.
Now’s your chance to get schooled.
The first Silk Road Festival -- a cultural celebration of the ancient trade route that connected those countries -- is Oct. 4-7 at the Stafford Centre, 10505 Cash Road in Stafford. The festival’s 10 acres will feature large replicas of each country’s historical landmarks and visitors will be able to learn about each regions culture through crafts, music, folk dance, forums and demonstrations.
The festival is open 10 a.m.-10 p.m. daily. Admission is $10 ($6 for ages 7-12); multi-day passes also are available.
