Summer meets winter
TopGolf presents "Suits and Boots" party for charity from 8-11 p.m on Saturday at TopGolf 1030 Memorial Brook Blvd. Players, who will brave the winter weather and be in summer wear, can win Rockets suite tickets, a $250 TopGolf gift card and other prizes. A percentage of ticket sale proceeds will be donated to The First Tee of Greater Houston. TopGolf is expecting 1,000 Houston-area residents golfing outdoors in swimsuits, winter boots, hats and scarves.
Get your game, drink on
Speaking of TopGolf, there are plenty of venues in town to do more than just drinking at. There’s no excuse for just sitting and drinking — particularly when Houston-area bars offer so many distractions for drinkers. Main Event, Lucky Strike and 300 Houston are just some of the places that offer fun to go along with the spirits.
Take in a movie
The action flick "Parker", "Hansel and Gretel Witch Hunters" and the star-studded comedy "Movie 42" all open this weekend. In "Movie 43", a dozen directors tackle 12 different raunchy stories complete with some of Hollwyood's biggest stars. See if you can spot all of them below:

'Stomp', drop and roll
The novel attraction "Stomp" features a team of high-energy performers who turn everyday objects — trash bins, brooms and sinks — into percussion instruments and dance props. The result is a dynamic blend of movement, percussion and visual comedy that has been a long-running off-Broadway hit and has toured the world for the past 20 years. "Stomp" runs 8 p.m. Friday, 2 and 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at Jones Hall, 615 Louisiana.
Never too late for PB and J
Bet you didn't know Thursday was National Peanut Butter Day? Sure, you could fix yourself a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and call it a party. You also could visit the Monster PBJ food truck for a fancy version of the celebrated sandwich. This may be the weekend you venture out and give them a try.
