Live from Joe Mathlete's living room: Woozyhelmet redux

Living Room Redux Week continues with this unearthed gem from Woozyhelmet, whose last clip was so good it inspired local celebrity Mark C. Austin to quit his job and start his own band. Get ready to start another band, Mark: this song's even better.

I can't quite remember why I didn't use this clip in the first place - "If Not For Pants" isn't the most representative song in Woozyhelmet's catalog, but I love this performance. Dinki brought over a few bottles of Dr Pepper, and the way they clinked and clattered together the louder she played her bass added to the weird, contagious mid-morning hangover atmosphere. And whether the sunglasses Jay wore were due to such a hangover or just a brilliant rock-and-roll doofus afterthought, I can't imagine anyone else pulling them off.

Be sure to tune in tomorrow for another performance that slipped through the cracks last year (and check out yesterday's Young Mammals video here if you missed it).
