The free event, which transforms the park into an open-air gallery, pays tribute to music, art and science and their contributions to skateboarding. The master of ceremonies for the event is Chris Gentry of Pro Riders. Two stages of live music will include performances by Something Fierce, Hell City Kings and Tax the Wolf, among others.

Other festivities include skateboard exhibits, surfing videos, interactive workshops and physics experiments with Adrian Lenardic, a professor in Rice University’s Earth Science department.

A portion of the proceeds from concessions will go to the Morgan Moss Foundation, which provides photography equipment to Texas high schools.

The skatepark is located at 103 Sabine.
