I did not see Bad Boys II and I will not see III. You can't make me care about it. Too bad I'm going to miss Return to Oz. That movie is fabulously awesome and creepy. Plus itty bitty Faruza Balk.
The Final Destination doesn't have very good reviews but I'm still going to see it. I'm sure it will have plenty of knives going through eyeballs and coming at you out of the screen.
And eff Michael Bay BTW--in general but also for those racist robots. He can't tell me he didn't know what was going on in his own film.
I'm right there with you on the Summer and Light Sam Adams, Ian. I haven't had the Blackberry yet. The Summer Ale is not bad, it's easy drinking and I think the lemon and grains of paradise are fairly well balanced. As a rule, I don't really drink light beer unless I'm tubing/binge drinking on the river. I just don't get it. If you're that concerned about being fat, just drink less of a good quality beer. Simple. Calories in, calories out. It's math!
I agree, there is something creepy about the skinny Sam Adams. It's like having Ichabod Crane posing for PBR.
Robert Zemeckis is officially dead to me. I don't care about his role on Back to the Future. Dead. Period. It's not even that I hold Yellow Submarine that sacred. I like it but why? What will the world gain by him remaking that film? Nothing. He, however, will probably get to add a new layer of hundies to his shorts. Despicable.
I am also glad that Robert Rodriguez's new film is doing horribly. I can't even think how a kid would find that entertaining. I think I would rather watch RR sit on the can for two hours while he plays with his iPhone.
I am seriously trying not to learn too much about Avatar. I want to go in with fresh eyes, ready to be melted.
I now have a great desire to see the Indian My Cousin Vinny. It could possibly be the key to what's missing in my life. I mean, I've always said the thing that My Cousin Vinny was lacking is long group dance numbers.
I'm disappointed I'm going to miss Starship Troopers. That movie is so awesomely bad. I mean NPH, Casper Van Deen *and* Denise Richards?!? DYNOMITE!
And oh yay, White Girls remake. I actually saw someone seriously post on Facebook that the first one was one of the funniest movies they'd ever seen. I vommed on my shoes.
I'm really sad that I missed the Roadshow. It sounded awesome.
I'm interested in the latest Puppet Master. I've only seen the first few.
