"much like a batch of double-fudge cookies I once attempted" HA!
i also like the parsley metaphor. As with all Nora Ephron films, I'll wait for the rental, but unlike most other Nora Ephron films, I actually plan to watch this one just cuz i love streep and child. Amy adams is awesome too, (junebug anyone?) but I think it sounds like she was given a less than awesome character to portray.
speaking of debuts at the comicon, did you read about alan ball announcing the production of Tru Blood the drink!?!! It will be a blood-orange-flavored soda, not a synthetic blood designed by genius Japanese scientists, and it will not contain vicodin or viagara, as ball joked at the comicon. and also, didn't river oaks close?
you read my mind, this looked really stupid! The only thing cool i noticed about the ad campaign was the way they used a mirror image of half her face to make her look eerily symmetrical. so now i'm more likely to netflick this one, thanks!
I know this isn't the type of comment you requested, but I saw the preview for this movie, and there was a part when a human character asks a bunch of the transformers about reading something, and they all laugh, and one of them says in this obviously black voice "read? we don't read" and i thought that was really weird and racist! Am I alone on this one?

I love Vampire Hunter D and his little snarky hand-face. That really takes me back...
